If you are fashion designer, have fabric store in your country, or working with fabric. I really recommend this place as your travel destination.
Outside Sun-Yat sen University there are many fabric wholesale market. Its like fabric heaven!!! You can find anything you want about fabric.
You can buy wholesale or retail in here, depend on store style. For store which just sell the card sample, you must buy as wholesale. But if the seller have ready stock in their store, you can buy as retail.
If you really fall in love with fabric, maybe it will take 2 days to surround this place.
Tips: if you want buy wholesale but you don’t have much time. Just buy the sample card and ask the seller, make sure that they can deliver your order to address you’ve requested. Excange your name card, so if you want to order next time, just contact the seller and tell them the fabric code in sample card.
Its better if you didn’t take the store picture frankly, because chinese people don’t like it. Except, the seller have know that you are foreigner and potential buyer.
This place is open from 10.00-17.00.
