Hai!… If you are in Guangzhou now, for visit Canton Fair, holiday or study.. Don’t forget to try MaLaXiangGuo (麻辣香锅) in Guangzhou。I never find this food in Indonesia.
You can choose the vegie and meet as you like. Welcome for spicy lover! they will cook it as your request about the spicy level. They also can make it not spicy too.
Mostly the waitress will be presenting it in a large bowl for 3-4 person. This dish have unique china pepper called Ma (麻）, If you dont like the taste you can request without the “Ma”. La (辣）means spicy, Xiang (香) means smell, and Guo (锅）means pot for cooking. So, Malaxiangguo means Spicy Pot.
I recommend you to try Malaxiangguo in Grandview Mall and Gangding. Of course you can find it in other place too. A person around 20-30RMB depend on vegie and meet you’ve choose.
Mala food in soup version called Malatang (麻辣汤）.Tang means soup, really yummy.
